Welcome Letter from Principal Catherine Mullins

Dear Sierra View Families,

It is with great excitement and heartfelt gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of Sierra View Elementary School. My name is Catherine Mullins, and I am honored to join this incredible learning community within the Oakdale Joint Unified School District.

I come to Sierra View with over 20 years of experience in education, including the past eight years proudly serving as a principal in Modesto City Schools. Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to fostering strong relationships, building collaborative school cultures, and ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

What makes this new role especially meaningful is that I am also a proud resident of Oakdale. I truly believe in the strength and spirit of our community, and I am deeply committed to partnering with families, staff, and students to make Sierra View a place where excellence, kindness, and growth are at the heart of all we do.

I look forward to getting to know each of you and to a fantastic school year filled with learning, connection, and success.
